To the editor:
I write in support of Kristi Andersen, candidate for Cazenovia Town Board. Kristi brings both a deep commitment to Cazenovia and a variety of valuable skills to the Cazenovia Town Board. I’ve worked directly with her on a number of projects and find her to be smart, thoughtful, helpful, insightful, concerned, honest and totally reliable.
Kristi has served on the Cazenovia Town Board for 12 years and was instrumental in creating the town’s important Comprehensive Plan. She is responsive to her constituents and collaborative with her colleagues on the board in planning for Cazenovia’s future.
She has been actively involved in many Cazenovia community organizations, such as the Cazenovia Public Library, The Cazenovia Area Community Development Area (CACDA) and the Cazenovia Forum; in all these groups, Kristi was a highly valued member, as reflected in these organizations electing her to serve as president or vice president.
Kristi taught at Syracuse University’s Maxwell School for many years, has published respected books and journal articles, and is a favorite on the local PBS news television program, The Ivory Tower.
I’m voting for Kristi on Nov. 7 because she has all the qualities critical to serving on the Cazenovia Town Board. I trust her implicitly and urge you to support her as well.
Jason Emerson is editor of the Cazenovia Republican and Eagle Bulletin newspapers.
