Turning Stone Casino
Enjoy the day on your own playing bingo or slots. Tuesday, April 4. The bus leaves the Senior Center at 9 a.m. and returns at 5:30 p.m. $20 per person, must be 55+, does not include driver gratuity. Receive $15 in bingo bucks or casino play and a $5 meal certificate. Parking in the center lot is limited so carpooling is recommended. Call 315-672-5820 for information.
Popcorn and a Movie
1st Wednesday of the month at 1 p.m. Next session is April 5. Free – Fresh popped popcorn for everyone. Check the week before Movie day to see what’s playing by calling 315-672-5820.
Art Club
Our drawing and painting class has been suspended until we can find an instructor. If you know of someone or want to instruct and our qualified please let us know. In the meantime, we will have Art Club for artists who want to meet up and work on their own projects. Thursdays from 1 to 3 p.m. beginning April 6. Call 315-672-5820 for information.
Jewelry Making
Come make a seven inch toggle bracelet or earrings with beads and wire. Wednesday, April 12 from 9:30 to 11 a.m., $2 for earrings or bracelet per person or $4 for necklace. Please register in advance by calling 315-672-5820.
Downsizing, decluttering and Right Sized Living for Seniors
Have you thought about moving but don’t know where to start? This seminar will discuss – When and where to begin planning, Decluttering tips, Tips to manage the stress of the transition, Organizational supplies, and Household liquidation options. The class is led by Caring Transitions. Tuesday, April 18 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Free. This class is being offered by the Onondaga County Office of Aging Institute for Caregivers.
