Improving to 2-0 on the young season, the Baldwinsville girls swim team again won at its home pool, knocking off the Nottingham Bulldogs 52-42. Maragret Walsh earned a pair of individual titles. Walsh swam the 200 freestyle in 2:15.73, then moved on to take the 500 freestyle in a time of 6:02.67. Abigail Whiting emerged to swim the 50 freestyle in 29.64 seconds. Elena Margrey won the 100 butterfly (1:10.54), while Kaitlyn Martin needed 1:01.30 to prevail in the 100 freestyle. Paige Altman was first in the 100 backstroke in 1:13.57. B’ville also took two of the three relay events. Martin, Altman, Amy Sidorakis and Charis Parker combined to win the 200 medley (2:03.73) as Parker, Sidorakis, Margrey and Margot Courtois got through the 200 freestyle relay in 1:51.05. Now the Bees get ready for its first road trip of the season, a Wednesday meet at Auburn.
