ABOUT THE SONGWRITERS
Isreal Hagan, recently inducted into the Syracuse Area Music Hall of Fame, is an accomplished songwriter and singer. He brings his voice and guitar to give his audience a no-frills solo rhythm and blues experience like never before. Isreal has written, arranged, and recorded over 35 of his original songs that are featured on his many singles, albums, CDs, and cassettes. Isreal’s 25 years as lead singer with Syracuse’s premier R&B group Stroke comes through in every performance. This four-time Sammy Award winning vocalist combines the excitement of a live R&B show with the intimacy of a coffeehouse setting. http://www.ihagan.com
Timothy Daniel is a popster with a penchant for unexpected melodies and chords which somehow match the equally atypical themes he favors. He is a songwriter with range and substance shaped by hundreds of performances throughout the U.S. and Europe, four albums, and a lifetime of never quite fitting in. http://www.myspace.com/timothydaniel
Predating the unplugged era, Dru Rodgers cofounded the acoustic rock band Heavy Wood in San Francisco with his singer-songwriter brother Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers. Still based in northern California, Dru can now be found playing tenor and baritone ukulele, cavaquinho, bouzouki, and other strange stringed contraptions in the world rock band Kazamoze. His first solo album is due to be released in the fall of 2010. ABOUT THE SERIES
