There are 50 teammates currently on the year-round, not-for-profit competitive swimming program. The team is designed to enable swimmers to grow in ability, and is USA Swimming sanctioned, (teammates are required to become a member of USA Swimming for a small fee). The team, under the experienced coaching staff of Chad and Jason McMillan, is organized by members’ abilities with the purpose to further interest and educate children in competitive aquatics sports. Both Chad and Jason McMillan swam for the Auburn Schools and Y Stingrays. The McMillans still hold swimming records at many local pools. The team’s next home swim meet is scheduled for March 13. If you want to see an exciting event, the Community Center will be busy with enthusiastic swimmers. Everyone is welcome!
