Both of the Liverpool softball team’s pitchers got a chance to display their mound dominance as the winning continued. It was Erin Squairs’ turn for Monday’s game against Utica Proctor, and she kept the Raiders off the board in an 8-0 shutout. Giving up five hits, Squairs escaped every possible jam and watched as Liverpool scored in four consecutive innings, starting in the bottom of the second. Tiffany Sampere went two-for-three, including a double, and finished with two RBIs. Kalyn Howard doubled and drove in a run, while Emily Dumas and Katie Bresnahan had one RBI apiece. Having blanked its last four opponents by a combined 28-0, the Warriors consented and gave up runs to Henninger on Tuesday — but still blasted the Black Knights 15-2. Four different times, the Warriors scored at least three runs in an inning, part of a 20-hit attack that backed up one-hit pitching from Sampere and Squairs. In fact, Squairs unleashed a lot of power through a home run and double on her way to five RBIs on the afternoon. Dumas also drove in two runs as Sampere, Jen Maloney, Abby Romano and Ciara Burke each had one RBI. As a cap to this latest week of unbeaten work, Liverpool unloaded on Nottingham Friday in a 25-0 romp that featured a no-hitter and five different innings where the Warriors produced four or more runs. Sara Tram led with two doubles and four RBIs as the Warriors earned 26 hits on the afternoon. Dumas doubled and drove in three runs, while Sampere, Howard, Maloney and Darcy Muldoon each had two RBIs. Lamison, Burke, Coryn Curtis and Stephanie VanDusen also drove in runs.
