Public Relations/Outreach Librarian
Noon Saturday, Oct. 21
Calling readers of mystery, romance (there’s more than one kind), adventure and contemporary fiction. We have an afternoon event that is sure to please everyone. Spend a cool fall afternoon with local authors at our second annual Authors’ Meet and Greet. Find out what motivates an author to write during a panel discussion at 12:30 p.m. (with an audience Q&A session), followed by an informal Meet and Greet. Get to know the authors better in one-on-one chats, buy a book or two (get them signed — they make great holiday gifts) and enjoy refreshments.
We have 10 authors joining us, some of whom already have books in our library (perhaps you have read one):
Mark your calendars and we will see you at the Meet and Greet…this is one event you don’t want to miss.
1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28
Youngsters, wear your costumes to this children’s Halloween party! There will be Halloween crafts, a costume contest, and Trick or Treating in the Library.
2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29
This is our first Escape Room experience for anyone aged 12 and up. Bring your best puzzle solving skills to find the antidote for the Zombie Virus so you can be released from the mad scientist’s private home laboratory! Space is limited. There will be two one-hour sessions; registration is required.
