Cazenovia police are investigating a reported larceny of a kayak from the Brewster Inn kayak storage racks sometime during the second half of September.
Cazenovia police also are investigating the reported theft of money from inside a charitable donations jar inside the Catherine Cummings Theatre on Lincklaen Street, on Sept. 30.

Kristin E. Carpenter, 45, of Manlius, was arrested Sept. 30 on West Lake Road in Cazenovia and charged with illegal discharge of a firearm, menacing in the second degree – weapon, reckless endangerment in the first degree and criminal possession of a firearm in the fourth degree.
Bruce V. Schaffner, 58, of Erieville, was arrested Oct. 4 on Erieville Road in Nelson and charged with burglary in the second degree.
Frederick N. Bender, 48, of Chittenango, was arrested Sept. 30 in Fenner and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the second degree and failure to keep right.
