Fenner shot a 43, eight shots better than the Spartans’ top player, Jess Falix. During Thursday’s match against undefeated OHSL leader Jamesville-DeWitt, Fenner again stood out, even as the Lakers lost to the Red Rams 147-169. With a nine-hole score of 35 on the short Butternut Creek layout, Fenner matched J-D star Jung-Hye Kim and beat Victoria Roney’s 37, but finished behind the Red Rams’ Molly Hair, who led everyone with a 33. Madison Singler shot a 42 in support of Fenner.
