An intense week of practice followed the Baldwinsville girls soccer team seeing a two-goal lead vanish in a 3-2 loss to Liverpool on the first day of October. Fortunately, the schedule allowed the Bees plenty of time to get over that defeat, as it didn’t return to action until last Friday’s visit to Utica Proctor – in all, six days of rest. With that rest, B’ville showed little mercy against the Raiders, putting together a blistering attack that scored six times in the first half of a 7-0 victory. Emma Firenze got it started, and shortly after Alyssa Tretowicz found the net to make it 2-0. Then Angelica Romeu came through with back-to-back goals, and Jade Sergeant’s header expanded the margin to 5-0. Lily VandeValk converted just before the break, and Carson Judkins tacked on a second-half goal. B’ville will take a 10-1-1 record into Wednesday’s home date with Central Square before a Friday trip to Cicero-North Syracuse.
