The Baldwinsville girls bowling team earned another big win last Tuesday afternoon, beating neighbor and rival Liverpool in a 2-1 decision. For the Bees, Taeler Kuss managed a 548 series with a 208 high game, while Annie Peterson fit a 198 game into her 504 set. Samantha Halligan had a 438 set. Mary Townley led Liverpool with a three-game total of 556. B’ville’s boys team could not get a point against Liverpool in a 3- 0 defeat, though Ryan Zbikowski had a 236 game in his 596 series, with Tom Lippke (591 series), Sam Sojdak (571, 247 high game) and Justin Peterson (558 series) close behind. For Liverpool, Alex DiGenaro posted a 640 series that included a 244 high game.
Then both of B’ville’ sides lost to Rome Free Academy on Thursday afternoon. In the boys’ 2-1 decision, Tim Wavercak had a 701 series and 247 high game, but still took the defeat. It was a 3-0 to the Black Knights on the girls side as Kuss earned a 592 series and Peterson added a 557 set. RFA’s Sarah Foley had a 668 series and high game of 268.
