The Liverpool boys bowling team earned a high-quality win on Wednesday afternoon, beating Utica Proctor by a score of 2-1. Kyle Wilcox led the Warriors, shooting a three-game total of 696, while teammate Rick Boullosa earned a 641 series and Tim Durham got a 634 set. Brian Baye led Proctor with a 710 series and 265 high game. And the Warriors went on to beat Rome Free Academy 3-0 in boys action on Thursday, as Wilcox improved to a three-game total of 706 (256 high game) and Travis Tucker stepped up with a 680 series. Liverpool’s girls team lost to both RFA and Proctor by the same 3-0 margins. In the Proctor match, Mary Townley gave the Warriors a 607 series (216 high game) and Jesse Tehonica had a 547 set. Nicole Parkhurst led the Raiders with a 670 series. As for Cicero-North Syracuse, it beat Henninger in a pair of 2-1 decisions. Derek Joss shot a 657 series (244 high game) and Zach Szumloz earned a 573 series in the boys match to overcome the Black Knights’ Bobby Moro had a 697 set. Chelsea Fox had a superb outing for the CNS girls team, shooting a 245 high game on her way to a 628 series as Becca Olivadoti added a three-game total of 488. When the CNS girls lost to Proctor 2-1 on Thursday, Sarah Felix still had a 567 series and 238 high game — but even that trailed Parkhurst, who was nearly perfect in a 278 game on her way to a 748 set.
