Moving to 4-4 on the season, the Baldwinsville boys swim team went to LeMoyne College Thursday night and put together a 90-82 victory over Cicero-North Syracuse. Dan Burke and Mick Tarsel would lead the way for the Bees, starting in the 200 medley relay, where they teamed with Nate Menapace and Andrew Bartelli to post a winning time of 1:52 flat. Burke went right to the 200 individual medley and claimed first place in 2:09.33 before moving to the 100 backstroke and winning that race in 58.06 seconds. As for Tarsel, he took over in the sprints, covering the 50 freestyle in 23.69 seconds and earning a victory in the 100 freestyle in 52.32 seconds. Menapace stayed busy, too, winning the 100 butterfly (59.27 seconds) before helping Bartelli, Dave Didio and Paul Schweitzer swim to first place in the 200 freestyle relay in 1:41.31. Adding further depth, Matt Reynolds won the 200 freestyle in 2:00.60 and, later in the meet, Connor Murphy beat the field in the 500 freestyle in 5:38.50. For CNS, Billy Werksman set a school record in diving with 227.10 points.
