WG’s girls team beat the Nottingham Bulldogs 15-49 and Corcoran Cougars 16-46, and eighth-grader Laura Leff again proved dazzling. Following up her Chittenango Invitational division victory, Leff covered the Camillus Middle School course in 19 minutes, 20 seconds, setting a new girls record for the 3.1-mile trail. Allison Reichel was fifth (22:59) and Katie Riley sixth (23:03), while Alyssa Zeman (23:57) ran her way to 10th place. WG’ boys hosted Corcoran and Nottingham, and won 15-50 decisions over both the Cougars and Bulldogs on the boys side by taking each of the top seven spots. Billy Gabriel won in a time of 17:01 on the Camillus Middle School course, a comfortable 43 seconds ahead of Steve Houghmaster (17:44), with Sam Reedy (17:55) in third place.
