Having a neighborhood gathering on the last day of the regular season, the East Syracuse-Minoa and Fayetteville-Manlius softball teams split a doubleheader. However, in the top of the sixth, ESM got to Amy Bright with three runs, two of them brought home by Chelsea Casciano as Andee Fox added an RBI, too. Though she gave up a run in the bottom of the sixth, Spartans pitcher Mallory Martino still earned the win, as she and Bright both allowed five hits. In the second game, F-M rebounded, never trailing as it beat ESM 6-3. The Hornets went up for good with two runs in the third inning, then scored three times in the top of the fifth.
