All that’s happened to the East Syracuse-Minoa wrestling team could be summed up by the way the team’s 36-32 defeat to Corcoran in last Wednesday night’s action. ESM won six of the seven contests on the mat, yet still lost the meet because it had to forfeit matches in five different weight classes, costing the team 30 points. Continuing this trend, Jamie Landry (215 pounds) took 1:26 to finish off Tremaine Williams. Connor Webb didn’t get a pin at 130 pounds, but he still dominated Kyle Gabriel in a 17-0 technical fall. In the night’s best match, Dustin Moss survived a 160-pound battle with David Minney, winning an 11-7 decision after Zach Revette (152 pounds) claimed an injury default against My’Quan Pringle.
