Pulled Into Syracuse
Since opening in January 2007, Funk ‘N Waffles has been serving up coffee, smoothies, sandwiches, and most importantly great waffles to the Syracuse University crowd for years.
Unassuming in its appearance on a desolate block in the city’s East Side, little do many know that Chorong House offers some of the most authentic ethnic food in all of Syracuse.
A sunny summer afternoon called for lunch at Darwin, a quaint and tiny deli tucked away on Clinton Street just north of Clinton Square. The restaurant springs out of the mind of Terry Riley, owner of Riley’s on Park Street, and has been serving up gourmet sandwiches to weekday downtown lunch-goers since opening in the spring of 2010.
