Marcellus Town and Village Tree Lighting

“Starlight,”’ the Christmas Tree in front of Marcellus United Methodist Church, handled the cold much better than its viewers, who following its lighting quickly made their way to the planned indoor activities, which were plenty. The Marcellus American Legion Ralph Share Post 297 hosted live music and a “decorate your own holiday cookie” table. Harpists performed at the Marcellus Free Library. Santa Claus, who arrived on a fire truck, made his way to the Steadman House for photos, and the Second Cup Coffee Shop offered a holiday craft making table. Well-bundled families stood, stomping their feet to keep warm while waiting their turn for a horse-drawn carriage ride through Marcellus.
