Residents living within the Baldwinsville Central School District will be casting their ballots soon, not only on the budget, but also to fill four seats on the district’s board of education. Six candidates are vying for a seat, read their profiles below. The proposed budget is $96,887,219 with a tax levy increase of 2.87 percent, which is an increase of approximately $67.13 for a $100,000 assessed property value. The tax levy increase of 2.87 percent is the district’s tax levy cap for 2014-15. The budget vote and board member election will be held from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 20 in the auditorium of Baker High School.
