Academic Decathlon team receives $2K donation, schedules fundraising dinner

Oneida Savings Bank last week donated $2,000 to the Cazenovia High School Academic Decathlon team to help the group raise funds to attend the national championship competition in Hawaii later this month. Also last week, the team announced that it will hold its final major fundraising effort — a Mother’s Day basket raffle and spaghetti dinner — at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 13, at the Cazenovia American Legion on Chenango Street. Event tickets will be $10 per person, with a limit of 100 tickets available.
