Benedict challenges Marsh in Pompey supervisor race

On Nov. 5, the voters of the town of Pompey will elect new town officials. The ballot will have two options for a new town supervisor, Republican incumbent Carole Marsh and Democratic candidate Phil Benedict. Two Republicans are running for election uncontested for the town councilor positions; Carl Dennis and Victor LaFrenz. Additionally, Ann Christmas is running for town clerk, and Thomas Purcell is running for highway superintendent. The candidates in the contested supervisor race are profiled below.
