Trudie Ann Kertulis, 63, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, at Crouse Hospital. Born in Kingston, PA, she was a graduate of Wilkes University, Misercordia University and Marywood University. She moved to Camillus in 2005.
Formerly an executive director with BASCOL, Trudie retired last December from Liberty Resources as a clinical social worker, working primarily with children and adolescents. She was a communicant of St. Ann's Church.
Trudie was predeceased by her father, Ellis Carle; brother, Ellis Carle II; and grandson, Neal Graham Stager.
Surviving are her husband of 43 years, Robert; daughter, Michele (Todd) Stager of Marysville, PA; sons, Jon and Anthony Kertulis, both of Camillus; mother, Gertrude Carle of Syracuse; grandchildren, Kevin, Ryan, Claire and Ella Stager; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends called from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, at St. Charles Church, 417 S. Orchard Road, Syracuse. A funeral mass followed at 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. Brian Lang and Deacon Anthony Paratore officiating. Burial was private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Trudie’s memory to the Crouse Health Foundation, Nursing Dept., 736 Irving Ave., Syracuse, New York 13210.
