Frances J. Christin

Frances J. (Hayden) Christin, 90, formerly of Liverpool, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at Loretto. She was born in Auburn and has resided in the Syracuse area for the past 30 years. Mrs. Christin was previously employed with the board of elections as an inspector in Endicott, N.Y. Frances loved spending time with family and friends. Her sense of humor and approach to life with dignity and grace will be remembered by all who knew her. She was not only a devoted mother, but a best friend and a role model for her children and grandchildren sharing her strong faith and life experiences with them. Mrs. Christin was a communicant of Christ the King Church in Liverpool. She is predeceased by her husband, Michael, daughter, Judith Christin, sister, Pauline Hayden and brother, Paul Hayden.
Surviving to cherish her memory are two daughters; Mary Kay (Emanuel) LaMacchia of Marietta, Frani (Ron) Panek of Canastota, son, Michael (Nancy) Christin of Batesville, sister, Mary Lou Hayden of North Carolina, seven grandchildren; Jay, Karen, Jenni, Matthew, David, Kendra, Gregory, and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and her special friend Genevieve at Loretto.
There will be no calling hours.
Mass of Christian burial: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, in Christ the King Church, 21 Cherry Tree Circle in Liverpool, with the rite of committal and burial to follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Auburn.
