Christina Renshaw Taylor, 94, of Camillus, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013 at The Centers at St. Camillus. Born in Liverpool, England, she moved to the Syracuse area in 1922 and was a graduate of Central High School.
Christina retired after more than 25 years with the Onondaga County Surrogate's Court. She enjoyed doing crafts and spending time with her family.
Christina was predeceased by her husband, William, in 2003; and 11 siblings.
Surviving are her daughters, Carol Pelkey and Dorothy (Ron) Remonda, both of Dunnellon, FL and Mary (Frank) Congel of Watertown; son, William (Susan) Taylor of Syracuse; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends called from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Graveside services were at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov.1, in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Christina’s memory to one's favorite charity.
