unknown - May 23, 2013

Lucia “Lu” Champagne, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday May 23, 2013 at the age of 70. Lu was born on Monday, May 25, 1942 in Fulton to Catherine (Cincotta) and Orazio Lanzafame. Additionally, she loved spending time with her friends and family which, much to her delight, came to include four grandchildren. To all of those that knew her, Lu was an extraordinarily kind, caring, loving and cheerful person.

Jay and wife Christina Champagne of Shaker Heights, Ohio; daughter, Jill and husband Thinesh Dahanayake of Mystic, Connecticut; grandchildren, Natalie, Sarah, Alexander and Julian; brother Tudy of Fulton; as well as many nieces and nephews.
