William S. Craig

William S. Craig, 90, formerly of Amboy passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013, at his daughter’s home in Oneida. Born in Amboy on June 24, 1922, he spent most of his life in Amboy, graduating from Solvay High School in 1939 and serving in Army Air Corps as a radar operator during WWII.
He was a member Amboy Belle Isle United Church and past Elder in Amboy Presbyterian Church. He worked for 38 years as a foreman at Allied Chemical in Solvay. He was a 67 year member of the Masonic Lodge in Camillus and Marcellus.
Bill was predeceased by his wife Louise (Dreher) Craig in 1970, his parents Harry B. and Grace A. Craig, a brother John L. Craig and sister-in-law Elizabeth O. Craig, brother-in-law Lewis H. Goodman and son-in-law Gary M. Graverson.
He is survived by his daughters Christine L. Craig and Susan P. Graverson both of Oneida, a sister Annette C. Goodman of Syracuse, four nieces, one nephew, and many great-nieces and nephews.
Calling hours and services were held at B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home, 10 Genesee (Main) St. village of Camillus. Burial was in Belle Isle Cemetery.
