Ann M. Brigandi-Haney, 77, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013, after a brief illness. Ann lived most of her life in the Syracuse area and moved to Valrico, Fla. in 1996. She retired from Scotsman Press Pennysaver after over 25 years of service as a typesetter. She was an avid bowler for many years. Another favorite pastime was spending time at the casino.
Ann was born Ann M. Costello to the late Margaret Boog and Joseph Costello. She was predeceased by her first husband, Carmen C. Brigandi in 1993 after 38 years of marriage. She married William Haney in 2002 and he passed away in 2012.
Surviving are her children, Michael (Faith) Brigandi, Ann Marie (Bob) Shavalier, Richard (Amy) Brigandi, Carla (Casey) Jordan; her brothers, Thomas (Alice) Costello and Donald (Libby) Costello; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services: 9 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, at Fergerson Funeral Home with mass of Christian burial following at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. Entombment will be in Assumption Cemetery.
