Marc C. Cardamone, 47, of Fayetteville, passed away Jan. 15, 2013, at home after a long and courageous battle with melanoma. Born in Utica, Marc graduated from John F. Kennedy High School and Paul Smith’s College. He was a corporate chef with Next Generation until 2011. He was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville.
Marc was an avid New York Rangers fan and he loved to golf in his spare time. His world revolved around his daughter Natalie and his wife Christine. He was blessed to be the center of a large group of friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Patrick Cardamone in 1979.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Christine Persak Cardamone; his daughter, Natalie; his mother, JoAn Cardamone of Utica and her companion of many years, Anthony Militello; and his brother, Stephen Cardamone of Powell, OH.
Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 at Immaculate Conception Church, 400 Salt Springs St., Fayetteville. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in DeWitt. Calling hours: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18 at Newell-Fay Manlius Chapel, 8171 Cazenovia Rd. (Rt. 92), Manlius.
