Nancy Poillon, 100, of Limestone Gardens, Manlius, died peacefully on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013 at Francis House. Nancy was born in Manchester in 1912, and spent her adult life in Auburn and in the Albany area, before moving to Manlius in 2004. She worked as an assistant buyer at the John G. Myers department store in downtown Albany. She was a member of Glenmont Community Church and First Baptist Church of Manlius. Nancy was an avid gardener and bowler, and enjoyed books and word puzzles, and supporting SU basketball and the NY Mets.
Nancy was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Robert Poillon in 1987, her son Daniel in 1965, and all of her siblings, Marion Abel, Lucia Van Benthuysen, Donald Mullin, and Elizabeth Woodruff.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Fran and Larry Campbell of Manlius; granddaughter, Amy Demetrowitz and great granddaughter Eva Demetrowitz of Burlington, VT; several nieces, nephews; and many loving friends.
