Albert D. Randolph, Sr.

Albert D. Randolph, Sr., 69, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at his home in North Syracuse. He served in the U.S. Army for 22 years, was awarded a Purple Heart and was a member of the Vietnam Veteran's Association, CNY Chapter 103.
Mr. Randolph retired in 2000 as first sergeant from the Onondaga County Sheriff's Department. He was predeceased by his brother, James Kinney.
Surviving are his sons, Albert Dennis (Lindsay) Jr. and Randy (Melissa) Randolph; two grandsons, Cole and Adon; a granddaughter, Amara; a brother, Norm Schumacher and a sister, Sharon Even.
Calling hours: 3 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 1 at Fergerson Funeral Home, 215 S. Main St., North Syracuse followed by services at 6 p.m. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
