Shirley A. Kimball

Shirley A. Kimball, 61, of Mallory, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at her home. Shirley was born in Syracuse and grew up on the North side. She attended the Syracuse City School District with the class of 1969 and was the daughter of the late Louis H. and Betty J. (Higgins) Kimball.
Shirley worked at Loretto as a counselor in the developmental disabilities division. She has worked at Mug Shotz Tavern in North Syracuse for the past eight years. Shirley had a knack for decorating and was a people person who loved for all animals especially her pets.
She was predeceased by her brother, Robert, in 2012 and by her sister, Debbie, in 1982.
Shirley is survived by her son: Richard Marcshner with whom she resided; four siblings: Rose (Thomas Freund) Daniels of Canastota, Linda DeFio of Pulaski, Gloria (Douglas) Caldwell of Fulton, and Louis Kimball of Syracuse; her granddaughter, Chelsey Marcshner; and a great granddaughter, Grace Kamryn Greene.
Calling hours: 4-7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Road, Mattydale. Funeral services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at the funeral home followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt.
