William “Bill” C. Ingles, 64, of DeWitt, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at St. Joseph’s Hospital after a courageous fight. Bill attended Oneonta State College. He worked for Sair Aviation until he moved to Dallas and eventually became a software consultant for Fourth Shift where he had the opportunity to travel around the world. Bill was a gifted singer and musician. He was an avid reader, an exceptional cook and a great fan of SU Basketball. He was predeceased by his parents Herbert and Cynthia Ingles, his step-mother Vicky and his brother Mark.
Survivors: His wife Deborah; his children Jason Ingles of Central Square and Jennifer (Benjamin) Demaria of Brewerton; step-children Sarah (Christopher) Quereau of Franklin and Becca (Knud) Hansen of Delhi; his siblings, Lawrence (Kerry) Ingles of Baltimore, MD, Debbie (Jamie) Downs of Camden and Theresa (Kenneth) of Idaho. “Grandpa Bill” also leaves behind his grandchildren, Gabriella, Julianna, Raya, Alannah and Pheona. In addition he is also survived by his father-in-law Gordon (Donnette) Nugent, Sr. of North Syracuse, brother-in-laws Gordon Nugent, Jr. of Auburn and Dean (Sharon) Nugent of Bridgeport, sister-in-laws Darlene (Lee) Penrod of Hastings and Beth (Bill) Mahoney of Clay and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8 at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at the funeral home, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville.
