Willard B. Williams, 79, of Camillus, passed away Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, at St. Camillus. Born in Syracuse, he graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1953 and SUNY Canton and Paul Smith’s College for Hotel Management. He was Sergeant in Army Reserve 376th where he served for six years. Willard worked at Don Elliot’s and in the Finance department for KeyBank for over 10 years. After retirement he delivered the swap sheet and often spoke fondly of his years working at The Pig Stand in Dewitt. He was a member of Oneida Lake Antique Auto Club, Antique Auto Club of America, Camillus Historical Society, Camillus Erie Canal Park, Camillus Baptist Church and an avid bowler. He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years Corinne (Farnett) Williams in 2010.
He is survived by his daughter Amy (Bill) Hastings; a son Kenneth (Teresa) Williams; two grandchildren Caitlin and Emily Williams.
Calling hours and services were held at the Camillus Baptist Church, 23 Genesee St., Camillus.
Spring Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Camillus.
