Ruth Dygert Parish, 91, of North Syracuse, passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at Sunnyside Care Center. Born in Syracuse, she was a graduate of North High School. She had worked for New York Telephone, was a family caregiver and communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church.
Mrs. Parish was predeceased by her husband, Maurice on May 24, 2006, by her brother, Harold, in 2013 and by her granddaughter, Jennifer, in 1989.
Surviving are her sons, David M. (Judy) Parish of Parish, Richard R. (Judith) Parish and Gregory T. (Cynthia) Parish both of North Syracuse; a sister, Carol (Gerald) Murdock; four grandchildren; several step grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services: 9:30 am Friday, Dec. 6, at Fergerson Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial: 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, with burial following in North Syracuse Cemetery. Calling hours were held Thursday at the funeral home, 215 South Main St., North Syracuse.
