Leona M. "Lee" Cook, 99, passed away Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013. Born in Syracuse, she had lived in North Syracuse since 1952.
Mrs. Cook was life member of Centerville Chapter No. 185, OES, where she held several offices, including chaplain, marshall and historian; and received several awards, including a Grand Chapter Service Award in 1997.
Also, she belonged to several senior citizen organizations, including Salina Civic Seniors, North Syracuse Senior Citizens, Liverpool Seniors and the Happy Times Club. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Cicero.
Predeceasing Mrs. Cook are her husband, Vincent W. on March 25, 1991 and two grandsons, Howard Cook, Jr. in 1994 and Michael Calcagino in 2013.
Surviving are her children, Howard (Linda) Cook, Joanne (John) Colasanti and Jean (Mickey) Calcagino; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services: at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3 at Fergerson Funeral Home followed by burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners.
