Dorothy "Dot" J. Simmons, 90, of East Syracuse, died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, at Loretto Cunningham in Syracuse. A native of Worchester, PA, Dot resided in East Syracuse for over 70 years and was the daughter of the late Clarence and Hannah M. (Fulmer) Kreamer.
Dot retired in 1983 after 10 years as a bus driver for East Syracuse-Minoa School District. Prior to that, she worked at L.C. Smiths as a machine operator for several years. She attended Andrews Memorial United Methodist Church.
Dot was predeceased by her husband, Harold, in 1993 and by two sisters, Elizabeth Knickerbocker in 2011 and Janet E. Schieber in 2000.
She is survived by two children: Nancy L. Stellato of New York City and Edward H. Simmons of East Syracuse; her sister, Mary Jane DeWees of Limerick, PA; a brother, Ronald Smith of Antwerp, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours were held at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Funeral Services were held at the funeral home. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, Dewitt.
