Robert D. Morris, 72, of Clay, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at home. Bob grew up on the north side of Syracuse and attended North Syracuse High School. He resided on Bonstead Road in Clay for the past 25 years and was the son of the late Harold and Laura (Calcagnino) Morris.
Bob was a self-employed car dealer since 1974 with his most recent lot being in Brewerton. Prior to that, he worked at Borden's Ice Cream and the Onondaga County Sheriff's Department. Bob was an avid supporter of the Oneida Indian Nation and a former member of St. John the Baptist Church in Syracuse.
In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by his sister, Ellie Salerno, and by his granddaughter, Sheena Morris.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, the former Sheila (Baxter); their three sons: Robert (Donna) Morris of Cicero, Dave (Lisa) Morris of Clay, and Rodney (Michelle) Morris of Palermo; two brothers: Edward (Rose) Morris of Syracuse, and Richard (Terri) Morris of FL; his six grandchildren: Alicia, Ashley (Kevin), Jason, Lexus, Ryan, and Jessie; three great grandchildren: Alivia, Mason, and Austin; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Funeral services: 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23, at the funeral home followed by burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Liverpool.
