David “Bryan” Bigsby, 40, of Syracuse, passed away Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at home surrounded by his loving family. A lifetime resident of Syracuse, he graduated from West Genesee High School and was a Marine Corps. veteran.
Bryan was owner of David’s Lawn Care Service. He enjoyed martial arts and received a black belt from Silver's Tae Kwon Do. He also liked watching movies and loved spending time with his family.
Bryan was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Marvin Bigsby; and maternal grandparents, Edward and Lylia Mulhern.
Surviving are his parents, David and Maryanne of Syracuse; sister, Kathleen Bigsby (Michael Fialkovic) of Camillus; paternal grandmother, Alta Bigsby of DeWitt; aunts, Carol (Stephen) Szkolnik of Syracuse and Susan (William) Davison of Cave Creek, Arizona; and many cousins.
Relatives and friends called from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Funeral services followed at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with Deacon Nick Alvaro officiating. Burial was private.
