Dorothy A. "Dot" Naegely Gay, 89, formerly of Liverpool, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013 at St. Camillus. A native of Akron in Western New York, she had resided on Bear Road 52 years. She had worked for Marine Midland Bank, Crouse Hinds and Guignard Florist. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where she had taught Sunday School.
Mrs. Gay was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Clinton R. Gay, on March 20, 1999; by her brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Doris Naegely and her parents, Ernst and Stacia Beeman Naegely.
Surviving are her sons, C. Richard (Andrea) Gay and Martin W. (Susan Gross) Gay; two grandchildren, Martin (Valerie) Edwards and Karin Kemp; a great grandson, Colton Kemp and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the caring people at St. Camillus and Bellevue and Westside Manors.
Services: 9 am Thursday, April 25, at Fergerson Funeral Home with burial in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay. Calling hours 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, at the funeral home, 215 S. Main St., North Syracuse.
