Sylvia J. Castor Pulis 73, of Brewerton died Sunday, April 14, 2013. A native of Rodman, New York, she retired after over 20 years from BG Sulzle. An avid bowler, she belonged to several leagues and appeared on "Bowling for Dollars". More recently she enjoyed bingo and the casino. Most of her time was spent with her children and their families.
She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Thomas P. Pulis on October 18, 2009.
Surviving are her children, Thomas (Paula) Pulis, Veronica (Perry) Pulis-Castor, Lino (Norma) Pulis, Victor (Loucretia) Pulis and Jason Pulis; nine brothers and sisters; eighteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 9:30 am on Thursday, April 18 at Fergerson Funeral Home with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at St. Rose of Lima Church followed by burial in North Syracuse Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home, 215 South Main Street, North Syracuse.
