Thomas J. Wilson Jr., 83, of Liverpool, passed away on Thursday at home. Tom was born on Aug. 14, 1929, son of the late Thomas and Mildred (Knapp) Wilson. He was a US Army veteran serving as a military police officer. Tom was a member of the Mattydale American Legion Post No. 1832, and Teamsters Local 317. He enjoyed traveling and was also an avid NASCAR fan attending many races at Daytona.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 33 years, Marilyn, of Liverpool; his sons, T.J. III (Claudia) Wilson of Syracuse; William F. Wilson (Robyn Finsel) of Liverpool; Michael P. Wilson (Patti Drummond) of Bridgeport; his step-children, Paul (Anastasia) Marziale of Kirkville; Donna Marziale (Mitch Mattei) of New Orleans, LA; Sharon Marziale of Liverpool; and Karen Marziale of Liverpool; four grandchildren.
Funeral services: 9:30 a.m. Monday, April 15, in Pope John XXIII Church, 8290 Soule Road, including a Mass of Christian burial. Rite of Committal and burial followed in Pine Plains Cemetery in Clay. Calling hours: 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 14, at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville.
