Wilson R. “Andy” Ker, 83, of Weedsport died Monday, April 8, in Auburn Community Hospital. Born in Saranac Lake, Andy lived in Jordan before moving to the town of Sennett. He was predeceased by his wife Shirley in 2008 and his daughter Patricia B. Ryan in 2007. Andy retired in 1990 after 38 years with NYSE&G. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War having fought in the Wonson-Hungnam-Chosin campaign. Andy was a member of The Chosen Few. He was a member of the Union Springs American Legion Post 1107, the Jordan Old Boys, and the Weedsport Rod & Gun Club.
Surviving are his son William C. Ker of Auburn, a brother William W. Ker, four grandchildren Anthony, Jennifer, Annabelle and Shannon, and three great-grandchildren Annabelle, Lila and June.
Graveside services: 10 a.m. Friday, April 12, in Weedsport Rural Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 11, at the Bush Funeral Home 120 E. Main St. (Rt. 5) Elbridge.
