Carol Ingerson Tacea, 73, of Cazenovia, died Saturday, April 6 at Francis House. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of Leon and Frances Pratt Ingerson. She worked as a dental hygienist for Dr. Withers in Hamilton since 1994. Carol was a 30-year member of the Cazenovia Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps, where she was a former medic, dispatcher and recipient of the President’s Award. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Surviving are her sons, Mark (Katherine) of Aliso Viejo, CA, Christopher (Marianna) of Cazenovia; her companion of 20 years, John Roberts of Nelson; her grandchildren, Kelcie and Kristopher of Aliso Viejo and a granddaughter and grandson on the way.
Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Thursday, April 11, at the Tait Funeral Home, Inc. 2333 Fenner Road Cazenovia. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
