Douglas H. Nash

Douglas H. Nash, 98, of Clay, passed away peacefully Friday, March 29, 2013. He was a native of Clay. He retired from Crucible Specialty Metals in 1977 after 35 years. Douglas was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Clay.
He was a life time member of the Clay Volunteer Fire Department, Past President of the Perch Pirate Club, an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing with his family and friends.
He is survived by his four children, Walter (Donna) of San Antonio, FL, Gary of Memphis, Linda (Frank) of Liverpool, Roy (Jean) of Parish, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Douglas was predeceased by his wife Dorothy of 70 years, daughter Marcia L. Nash Sullivan and son Douglas Jr.
The family would like to thank the staff on Floor 4C, Van Duyn Home, for their wonderful care.
Calling hours: 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville. Funeral services: 10 a.m. Thursday, April 4, at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4945 State Route 31, Clay. Burial will follow in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay. Contributions may be made to Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church.
