Frank S. Cramer, 86, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012.
Born to Walter and Beatrice Cramer, Frank grew up in East Syracuse before entering the U.S. Navy and serving during WWII and Korean War. Frank retired from Conrail, as a driver, after 40-plus years of service. He was a member of the Taft Road American Legion and an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a former member of the East Syracuse Fire Department.
Frank is predeceased by his parents; brother William Cramer; sister Mildred Condig; and granddaughter Michelle Carr. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 59 years, the former Joan Stone; sons Frank Scott (Kim) Cramer and David Cramer; daughters Debi (Richard Sgroi) Cramer, Caroline (Randy) Casselman, and Fay (Cheech) Campbell; brother Walter Cramer; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and loving dog Spunky.
