Helen Kudlick, 90, daughter of Andrew and Tekla Kudlick, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012 at home. Born on Tuesday, March 28, 1922, she was a lifetime resident of Syracuse and retired from Scientific Glass.
Throughout her life, family was very important to her. A warm, thoughtful, caring and loving sister and aunt, Helen cherished her family and enjoyed keeping up with all of their activities. She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church.
Helen was predeceased by her brothers, John and Metro Krull, Joseph, Michael and Stephen Kudlick; and sister, Mary Hoefer.
Surviving are her sister, Sister M. Antonia Kudlick, MSMG of Stamford, Connecticut; sister-in-law, Joyce Kudlick; and brother-in-law, Stephen Hoefer, both of Syracuse; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Calling hours: 11 a.m. to 12:15 Friday, Oct. 12, at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services followed at 12:15 p.m. at the funeral home and 1 p.m. in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, where the Divine Liturgy for the Deceased was celebrated. Helen was laid to rest in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Syracuse.
