Trevor Lanigan, 33, of North Syracuse died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at Upstate Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. Upon graduating from LeMoyne College and Upstate Medical University, he worked at the Syracuse Veterans Hospital as a physical therapist. Trevor was an avid sports fan, especially college football and his favorite team, the Wisconsin Badgers. Family and friends will remember Trevor as a kind person with a big heart, who was loved by all. Trevor was predeceased by his grandparents, Charles and Susan Cernaro and Harold and Mary Lanigan.
Surviving are his wife, Christina Iannolo Lanigan (my love), whom he married on June 4, 2011, at St. Daniel's Church; his parents, Charles and Charlotte Lanigan of Oswego; his brother, Ryan (Nicole Verel) Lanigan of North Syracuse; his nephew and godson, Braeden Lanigan; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He also had numerous close friends that he would consider like family.
