Margaret "Jerry" (Ogg) Bankey, 87, of Warners passed away Oct. 17, 2012, at Loretto. Born in Oil Hill, KS, she graduated from Russell High School, Russell, KS. Jerry met her future husband, Arthur, at a USO dance in Kansas. They married in Russell before he was deployed overseas.
After their marriage, they moved to Warners to raise a family. Jerry was a member of the Camillus Chapter #438, Order of the Eastern Star, VFW Post #8664, Camillus Republican Club, long time former member of Amboy Belle Isle United Church, and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Syracuse.
Jerry retired from the town of Camillus after many years with the town clerk and assessor offices. She enjoyed her craft projects, especially paint by numbers. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Arthur and her grandson Joey, both in 2002.
Surviving are her two sons Charles (Lynda) and Randy (Judy); two daughters Colene O'Neill and Rhonda (Steven) Arnold; a brother Herbert (Charlene) Ogg of Yoakum, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services, calling hours and an Eastern Star service were held at B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home, 10 Genesee St., Camillus. Burial was in Belle Isle Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Joseph F.
