Victoria S. Leva, 88, formerly of North Syracuse, died on Friday, May 11, 2012, at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Watertown to the late Natale and Antoinette Carbone. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, North Syracuse and a member of Bishop Curley Council 3717 Columbiettes.
Mrs. Leva was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Joseph, on Dec. 18, 2010 and by her son, Joseph, Jr., on Oct. 18, 2011.
Surviving are her son, John "Jack" (Laurella) Leva of Tully; a daughter-in-law, Susan Leva of Myrtle Beach; four grandchildren, Stephen, Michael and Hannah Leva and Toni Carolin; two great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Jordan; two brothers, Pasqual (Marie) Carbon and Carmen Carbon; a sister, Louise (Tony) LaMartina and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, at Fergerson Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, North Syracuse with entombment following in St. Mary's Cemetery Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum. Calling hours: 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, at the funeral home, 215 South Main Street, North Syracuse.
