Ida Corl Bludger, 88, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012, at Sunnyside Care Center. She was born in Cortland, grew up in the Valley and spent most of her life in the North Syracuse area. She was the last surviving child of the late Merton and Mary Obridge Loch Corl.
Mrs. Bludger retired in 1979 as administrative assistant and traffic manager for Mobile Warehousing. Previously she had been a comptometer operator, was a real estate broker and worked at GM/NPG.
A long time member of Riverside Country Club, she made a hole in one in 1977. She also belonged to Women in Transportation, the Good Sam and Jayco Too camping clubs, several bowling leagues, most recently at Bowling Green, was a Girl Scout Neighborhood Manager and a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church.
She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Edward J. Bludger, on February 2, 2002.
Surviving are her daughter, Judy A. Dziekonski of Buffalo; three grandchildren, Sharon, Marce and Thaddeus Dziekonski; a great granddaughter, Evelyn Crumb and many close friends and nieces and nephews.
Services: at 9:30 a.m. Monday, May 21, at Fergerson Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church with burial in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours: from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 20, at the funeral home, 215 South Main Street, North Syracuse.
